I agree that we have the funniest darn avatars on the forum. And I also agree that Edie has trumped you again. I think Edie just has the lower half shot of your avatar.

[For later reference - NNS' avatar is a head shot of Santa drinking liquor, Edie's is a picture of the leg's of one of Santa's sexier elvettes, and Cranky has a picture of Santa riding a bike]

Though this isn't exactly the image I want to project over on the soapbox. OTOH...perhaps my opinions are considered more thoughtfully now.. Of course, Santa drinking liquor might be considered more offensive to some people I know....(Baptists..shhh)

I picked the Santa one because it reminded me of the movie Christmas Vacation, after all of Clark Griswold's attempts at Christmas family fun have ended in disaster...and he's depressed.

OK. Its official folks. Klodifan's "This forum is dying" (FID) thread, with 1462 reply posts, is the largest thread in GT Forums history! The next largest thread with 1406 posts is WBT's "Discovery in disarray.....?" thread, followed by Shnerpal's "Ullrich's new team better than USPS?" with 1337 posts.

On the Billboard GT Forum Number of Views hit list, FID ranks 22nd, but is rising up fast. The FID thread has 21,515 views at present and the leading thread is "Ullrich's new team better than USPS?" with 79,571 views.

The FID thread is 7th on the list of All-Time Cycling Forums threads across all forums, in terms of posts. The "Thread about Nothing" in the A&NZ forum is first with 19,420 posts at this time.

I disagree with you here. Agreeing was only recommended on the basis of providing an easy reponse before moving on. Disagreement is good for extended debate, so I'm in agreement with you on that point. But it rarely, if ever, ends in any agreement. At least on the internet it doesn't.
