Floyd spent his money in the wrong place...lawyers. He should've bought off insiders in the UCI prior to the race to make sure he didn't pop.

Floyd committed the second-greatest sin in the omerta book. He got caught.

He is therefore to be treated as you would a maggot-ridden turd: stay well clear, pretend it doesn't exist, ignore the smell, and hope that none of it rubs off on you.

But for that one little test, he'd be a superstar with his own set of adoring fans, having transferred their affections from the Great One to his heir presumptive, and a with whole lot of cash to boot. From Arcadia to oblivion in one sample. I'm not surprised he's annoyed.

It is more than that. If Landis would have been smart he could have looked at what happened to Hamilton and played things differently. He should have kept relatively quiet, not making outright denials but questioning the tests. He could have stalled until his lawyers and experts examined the test data. If there were obvious problems then go to the matresses, but if the tests looked good then he should have given a tearful confession and plea for forgiveness.

Of course,, Landis was in a very bad position. His hip made it impossible to know if he would ever race again. He may have thought that the 2006 Tour de France win might be the end of his career and he should do everything possible to save it.

Also Landis instinct is to push forward at all cost.

You got that right, bro! Flandis CHOSE to escalate his "fight" and he’s responsible for diggin' himself into a deeper hole. As a last resort, he should have used that exo-T to make love, not war.

Even if Floyd has some photos, he could be lost everything with the beginning of the breaking omerta. Maybe an other USP or DC mate could sell the story before him!
