My favorite part of the article is that it includes another angry leprechaun picture of Landis...

FLandis looks pissed. Poor dude. He cannot catch a break. He's getting a large part of the blame for what all the other riders have been doing for a decade and a half.

I agree but hes still an ass. I hope he loses again. He would not have won if Jan and Ivan were racing though. They really lost more.

I don't hink so. Ullrich will live well the rest of his life. Basso will come back and win another Giro or two, getting paid very well for doing that. FLandis is farked. With the current state of the sport, I don't see how he can race on anything other than a minor euro team or a U.S. domestic team.

From what I heard, Floyd would not be welcome in euro teams even cleared: the most objection is his fund which is seen by many of them as a fraud.
A lot of organizers don't want to see him on race because of course it's all bad publicity and it's a possibility to put in jeopardize their sponsors.
For many people, Landis'case is finished for a while: he is one of the numerous dopers inside riders. He has not provide a sign for a change, it's for that he would probably farked. Pro cycling need a new mentality, riders "caught" who will not change would be exclude.

No career, no money, no future. This doesn't quite apply to JanIvan. All that has happened to them is they've had to sit out a few GT's and received a knock to their reputations. Landis on t'other hand seems to have made a pretty good job of wrecking his life.

That twat Mcgregers over on DP also reckoned that Floyd was facing the prospect of eternal damnation when he went to meet his maker. I've a feeling that Jan doesn't worry too much about that kind of thing.

I have zero sympathy for the guy.
Bad enough that he doped.

His attempts to defend himself - and in the process try to tarnish both the professional and private life of Greg LeMond - were unforgivable.

As corrupt and as bad as the sport is - we're 1000 times better off without his sort and his so-called manager.
Scumbags both.

One other note - they didn't divine the strategy of trying to intimidate witnesses off their own bat either.

No sympathy for Landis either, nor for the lemmings that followed him and put money into FFF.....

'But of course he's innocent, look at him, he's American, and Quaker, wait, wait Amish,no, no hold on, Mennonite, not sure what that is exactly, but it's sounds good. He says the nasty Frenchies - they're all jealous don't you know, that's what Armstrong always said - framed him so it must be true.'

What I love most about this is that Landis must drop around and see Lance now and then... Landis would get out of his 1983 beat up cadillac and walk up Lance's long and winding circular driveway to see 2 Hummers, a Lamborghini, 3 Camaros and 4 Harley Davidson bikes... he then would ring Lance's door bell of his 12 bedroom, 6 bathroom mansion with 25 meter pool and jacuzzi to be greeted by Lance's maid who would fetch the butler to fetch one of the Olsen twins to fetch Lance...... Lance would walk down his large internal staircase like Hugh Hefner in his silk bathrobe with "Armstrong - the American way" emblazoned on the back to see Floyd.

Lance would then wave Floyd into his massive living room and sit down on his Tuscan leather sofas imported from Italy and light up a large cuban cigar (selected form his personal temperature controlled humidor) for he and Floyd. Lance would then tell Landis that he must keep fighting the injustice of the French. He would tell Landis that everyone doped and that he must keep up the omerta - he is the saviour to protect us all. Landis would stumble with his words but in the presence of Lance and the life size painting of Lance's mum on the wall what could Floyd say ?

When will the penny drop for Landis that if he confessed he could have a chance at riding again and better still write a book about or better still make a living out of being the "redeemed one".... why did he listen to Lance ? best pop over and see George.... nah better not his house in probably just as big... maybe I'll just go down to the local park and talk filth with the bums on the park benches.... more landis's scene.... where did it all go wrong... ?

The lemmings have been fouled for years by the whole circus, corrupted reporters who didn't make their jobs, who didn't ask the good question at time,... They didn't want to spit in their soups..
As many people say "it's buissness", but it's more crap. There is nothing more dangerous than money religion!
