According to this bit on Velonews, Kash is training "in anticipation of joining a new team" according to his lawyer (and complaining about the UCI etc). The lawyer mentions there could be some sort of "stipulation that it (contract) could be suspended or canceled if he were to be disciplined" (emphasis mine) ... I'm just wondering if they have some sort of inside information that the Kazahk Cycling Federation is planning not to suspend him or not for long or something, why else would Kash expect that any team would want him *before* everything is cleared up?

I think he is just in denial. All the riders who test positive announce they are still training in case they get off by some miracle.
