What do you say to this Cranky? Blows out of the water your theory that there would be no positive tests during the Tour.

Yes, he was in Disco in 2005/6 and then moved to Liquigas.

What's the matter with you people...?
Obviously - it's French conspiracy.
They're trying to discredit the great Armstrong

Well, the answer's obvious. He didn't start doping until he went to that corrupt team Liquigas.

We don't love doping moron. On the contrary, I hate it...which is why I dislike Lance so much. Seeing that he and his team were the doping vanguard, this is no surprise however.

I guess you Lance lovers will have to add another layer of denial for this one.

Yep. I couldn't be happier. Maybe cycling does have a future where doping is not the norm.

Maybe they read this forum and realized that they had to bust people again this year or else people would be talking . . .

Moron? Kettle, pot, black!

A bit sensitive are you. I was simply pointing out that anytime a rider even remotely connected to LA gets caught doping it is a reflection on LA. Meanwhile, the entire peloton is on drugs and it's basically ignored or explained away with such brilliant arguments like, "yeah, others are doping, but Disco has a super-doping program so it's not fair." They all do drugs! It's not going to change. "Doping Vanguard!" LOL

Nobody brought up LA until you did. Personally, I don't see how his being in Disco has any bearing on this, since whatever he is doing now depends on what internal doping program Leakygas has (unless he is doing something personally).

Every time I start to get excited about professional cycling again, I get a cruel reminder of what professional cycling is all about.

This, of course, is not the first time Beltran has had rumors of EPO use...

Correction: this is what professional sport is about. Many other sports are content with sticking their heads in the sand and ignoring the problem, or pretending that the problem doesn't exist. However, there are several indications that the sport is possibly cleaning up. For instance, teams with biological passport testing such as Garmin-Chipotle are able to stay with the other teams instead of getting dropped. Thus, unless Garmin-Chipotle is pulling wool over our eyes, that suggests a cleaner peloton.
