The coverage last night here was a joke - but that's coz of the AFL.

I hope tonight we get live action from the track and not replays.

The TV is only focusing on sports with US medal hopes (which is quite a few obviously). They have extra coverage on the NBC website... but they're not televising or streaming the cycling it seems.. at least not so far. It's a bit disappointing... cause we always got it in Australia... and even when I lived in Asia.

Easy solution. get out of yankee land and move back to Australia!

On a serious note, hope you get some good coverage there.

It will probably be on the other channels. They have been broadcasting all sorts of B.S. sports on MSNBC, Oxygen, USA, and Bravo.

Damn the GB squad is good, correct me if I'm wrong but we've gained a medal in every event so far? And the only one we have won is the mens points race.

NBC itself is currently showing a profile of Taylor Phinney and his family on the Detroit NBC station we get ... so I expect it would be on in 3 hours on the Seattle and Spokane NBC stations we get, I would presume they're planning to follow the profile with the actual race ... of course, they might just show Phinney, who knows (but there's hope for you Cranky).

CBC showed absolutely no track overnight despite it being on the original schedule - they had to show all the medals we won, and profiles/interviews with the medallists, obviously .

Yea, I was wondering how, with all of their extensive TV coverage and all, the Aussies are doing too......I'll bet GREAT in terms of medals....us poor "sepos" and our inferior TV coverage....guess we haven't won any cycling medals.......NO, THIS JUST IN: We have 2 so far....I wonder what happened to Ass Chin and the rest of the Fosters contingent?

We're not doing too bad.... third on the medal tally of all countries at the Olympics so far with a population less than Texas.
