Tell them that Lance was a rider unable to climb and a rider who finished with 6 mn gap of Indurain in his first 4 Tour de France!
Only precedent rider to do so and win Tour de France was the famous Riis doped by EPO.

Even some of the smartest individuals need an idol, I suppose. If it's not a god it's a man-god.
