it's more or less like being suspicious of African marathon and endurance events champions for their weight. I used to be 30 kilograms thinner just training and competing on weekend events, without any special diet.
Cyclists don't need to take medication to lose weight?

Look up Nathan O'Neill. He wasn't busted for taking Beefcake 2000.

Why did Wiggins say he's riding well these days? What did Armstrong say was the reason he became a better rider after cancer? WHat is the most useful way to measure a rider's output? (hint: weight is the divisor).

Bloody hell, imagine what Ullrich could have done with AICAR.

Who's talking "non sense"?

but it's even more than that.. the drug allows you to utilize fats as you would normally utilize sugars (fats normally take long to and are difficult to breakdown). but fats are WAY, WAY, WAY more energy dense than sugars meaning that everyone's gasoline engine can be magically transformed into a diesel engine that will run on much less fuel and go farther than before.. it's more than just a weight loss drug.. weight loss is welcome a side benefit.

AFLD: No new cases of doping from 2008 Tour de France

17 riders subject to retesting for EPO-CERA, all return negative result

The French anti-doping Authority (AFLD) announced today that retesting of 17 samples from the 2008 Tour de France has revealed no new doping cases.

The AFLD's Director Pierre Bordry made the announcement at a press conference in Paris and said that the samples of 17 riders had been retested for the presence of third generation Erythropoietin (EPO), CERA. Bordry said that all of the samples had returned negative results.

“The 17 retested controls were negative. It was not our goal to find anything.” said Bordry, according to German press agency dpa.

and strangely nothing more from the retesting of the 2008 giro, either.

Lets face it... This was just a publicity stunt. Another shout to the media along the lines of "LOOK AT UZ WE HATEZ DOPERZ!"

IF riders were taking Hematide then it should show up in the 'Blood Passport' readings and said riders should have been taken care of by now. AICAR... we that should have been spotted too as a test for that was available at the end of last year.

Whether the 'blood passport' program is really doing anything is another question entirely.

Why go for AICAR from Canada when you can get EPO mailorder from Mexico?

You can?

AICAR is good for someone who is carrying around a little bit of extra fat.

If you can ride harder and futher you can lose a bit of extra fat too...

There's a few places on the interweb that claim that EPO cures all ills etc etc... I was curious as to whether they could actually get the stuff so I gave them a call and as sure as sh1t they'll ship the stuff. You could probably get the required needles for free from the local "No AIDS for junkies" shelter as set up by the local do-gooders.

But I don't need EPO - I just need the entire worlds supply of AICAR for the next 2 years. That and liposuction and a 98 step program to quit the booze.

I could by 50mg for $880US and sell it for more in Australia. Set up my own business. Selling AICAR.

What's the number for the EPO place? At this point in time, I think I prefer AICAR.

Just need to research how much AICAR you should take every day or every week. Who is it that knows a lot about illegal substances by doing research on them? Limerickman? Cobblestones?

I could dig that number up when I get home... but if you google "senile, epo, hgh, insulin" and look for some webpage with a silly looking wizard on it you'll be on one the websites that offer it. Skip past the drivel and onto the phone numbers. There's a few others too.

Thanks

But without them sending you the stuff do you know it's real?

I mean it could be what Sinkewitz took in the 2006 tour.

I don't think Cyclingforums and Cyclingnews - the latter under my new username after Grater got banned can live with Grater being dead.

But I wouldn't mind giving them a call. Get it sent out and get it tested to see if it's the real deal.

If you buy some, get it tested and discover that it is real, you'll be getting phone calls from AFLD and WADA and steve will be forced into banning you for 2 years...

Won't be the first cycling forum I've been banned from for 2 years.

Funny that you mention the 'whiter than white' Wiggo. I happened to have a quick look in his new biography which has been updated to include this years T de F. He reckons it was a slower & therefore cleaner race. Needless to say I disagree. I thought it was as fast as 2007 (if not faster). I have my doubts about Wiggo's miraculous transformation into a 'mountain goat'. It's highly suspect.
