According to Austrian newspaper Kurier, Bernhard Kohl was officially questioned by representatives of the AFLD. After the official interrogation, Kohl met privately with Jean-Pierre Verdry, the director of the agency controls department. Verdry showed him a starting list from the 2008 Tour with about 40 names marked on it, with those riders being under suspicion of doping.

“When I saw this list, I was beside myself,” Kohl said. Verdry confirmed the meeting. “Yes, I showed him the list.”

Good.

Hopefully Bradley Wiggins gets found out with about 50 other riders.

Wiggins weight loss was due to AICAR.

I looked into it.

You can get AICAR in the states.

A couple hundred dollars for only a small amount.

So it must work well.

Tempted to give it a try haha

I have a feeling this is going to have more impact on the GC than the hardest mountain stages could

When they retest 2009 samples, Wiggins could go down, as well as these 50 other you're mentioning. But I doubt this year's samples will be retested. If you ask me why? Because there's no suspicion based on tests done during the race - that's what they'll say. My opinion is - they don't need scandal in a moment when the Tour brings money and sponsors like during the most successful years. They don't need publicity based on anti doping fight when there is publicity based on rivalry between big stars.

this year's will not be retested because this year's testing was under the authority of the UCI not the AFLD... and as we know the UCI is not interested in finding out the truth only in outing a few unlucky scapegoats to make it appear like they are really doing something... even though they are in reality a big fraud...

the only reason.. 2008 and potentially 2009 are/could be retested is because they were done under the authority of the AFLD not the UCI.

If a considerable amount of riders are found to be wanting in 2008 the proposition that no re-testing need be done on 2009 samples by virtue of the fact no positives were originally found becomes an untenable position.

That is to say it is 'objectively' untenable. Ofcourse we are not dealing with objective characters in this here dalliance.

Depending on what comes out of this in the next few weeks - this will go very close to ending the sport for me.

There is no point helping to grow the sport in Australia if the end game involves sending kids off to europe to become fcukwits like Armstrong or Millar or Vaughters or Riis or Sanchez or Contador or Vinokourov or Saiz or Kohl or Valverde or Rasmussen or Basso or.....

Smashing other cunz whilst on drugs as competitors struggle to hang in the bus and thinking you are 'the man' is like a 12yo beating the sh1t out of his 5yo sister and thinking he is 'tough'.

I am getting tired of hanging out with people of lesser intelligenz. People who cannot run a sport or face up to the reality of it.

this Bordry person, president of the French Anti Doping Agency, talks non sense.. the UCI blames him for seeking -harmfull- attention. Professional riders at the Tour don't need medication ( AICAR is the controversy i think ? ) to be thin... they have 30,000 kilometers on their bodies to start with !

it's more or less like being suspicious of African marathon and endurance events champions for their weight. I used to be 30 kilograms thinner just training and competing on weekend events, without any special diet.

If they don't retest this years samples then they should stop drug testing alltogether and let them dope.
