Meanwhile, Christian Prudhomme, the Tour de France director, has said that the sport has cleaned up its act.

"Pierre Bordry [French anti-doping agency president] recently confirmed to me that there had been no suspicious cases [in the 2009 Tour]. This means that the fight against doping is working.

Yes the title is provocative but my real point is how ridiculously hypocritical as well as propagandist Prudholme is.


2 weeks ago Bordry stated that Hematide as well as Aicar were used in this year's Tour so how the hell can Prudholme make this statement today?
