And all this is why I've chosen to reduce it all to "wrong-
way Fred gets dead." Much better satisfaction/hassle ratio.

Glad to see a Trailer Park Boys fan on this NG! And yeah..
the Raveen / Patrick Swayze bit is still funny. I find the
funniest one is in the pilot/movie when they are sitting in
the car.. it goes on for 10 solid minutes.

Would playing chicken qualify as confrontation? I usually
just wobble back and forth generally toward them and look
frightened until they freak out and run to the curb or, for
lack of intelligence, dodge around me by heading into the
oncoming traffic.

Another sequence I like is the one where Ricky just got out
of jail and was heading home; he goes into the convenience
store and says something to the effect of: "Okay, I need
some stuff. So you can either just fuggin' give it to me, or
I can rob ya. It's your choice."

It was kinda heartbreaking when his daughter, Trinity, stole
the tire to be like her dad.

Cory & Trevor could be in a spin-off.

Gawd, is Reveen still on the circuit? I saw him back in
about 1976 in Fort MacMurray. Seemed like everyone in town
showed up for his "performance". Of course, there was little
else to do there entertainment-wise, with one single screen
theater and two or three television channels...

Charlottesville, Va?

Man it's been a while since I've been to Cville, obviously
(if I remember right)

I remember there were bike lanes painted on the *road* on
JPA and JPA extension (I think? My directions are always
muddled when I go visit my friends there). Any rate its'
down by the hospital & behind Cabell Hall. But doublewide
sidewalks??

I don't know how I feel about the whole bicycle segregation
thing. Separate but equal often isn't in America....and I
like riding on the road too much to give the yahoos any
reason to shout me off the road.

Heh, heh, helps to be young and immortal, too. When they
