The L. A. Wheelmen's GRAND TOUR, June 21, 2003, begins in Malibu and heads north ... as far as want to take it: 100+ miles, 200, 300, even 400 miles. The Century Challenge (just a little longer than 100) goes to Moorpark and returns via Oxnard and Pacific Coast Hwy. The Double Century gets to Ojai for lunch, by a Lowland or a Highland route, before returning to Malibu. Add a loop to Gaviota in the middle of your Double for the Triple Century. Finish a Triple and still ready to ride? Loop to Ventura and back. Last year, a Quadruple Century finisher had half an hour to spare on the 24-hour limit! The Los Angeles Wheelmen offer full support, good food, helpful volunteers, and 45 years of experience on our GRAND TOUR. Come put some real mileage into your Triple Crown or UltraMarathon accounts. June 21 is just FIVE WEEKS away. Are you TRAINING? Are you READY? Are you REGISTERED? For more details and directions, check our web page ... http://www.LAWheelmen.org for a printable registration form (requires writing a check and sending by snail-mail), or a link to Active.com for on-line registration (small fee, but accepts credit cards for instant registration).
