Default quicklock : opinions

since I have a schmidt dynamo on the front wheel it's quite a pricey piece of kit.

What are the groups opinion of the "quicklock"?

Certainly not as secure as running a ulock through or threading a decent chain lock, but would deter
most casual parts thieves?

On this subject do properly locked bikes (e.g strong u lock through back wheel and frame and secured
to a lamp post) really get stolen that frequently? Most bikes I see stolen are poorly locked up :
e.g light cable through front spokes and wrapped around a young sapling tree
