Well, Lance really only won two tours honestly.

Look at stage 5 of this year's tour, Lance could only produce a 53rd finish.

Guys like Petacchi, Cooke, McEwen, and Vainsteins outsprinted him with no trouble. If Lance ever
wants to become more than just a one trick pony he's going to have to make the effort and spend the
offseason working on his sprinting power.

And what the heck happened at the stage 3 finish in Saint-Dizier? Lance let guys like Casero and
Lüttenberger cross the line in front of him, if Lance is honest with himself then he must admit this
season has been a total wash out so far.

I'll tell you something, I would never have let Rene Haselbacher get across the line in front of me
like Lance did at the finish in Sedan.

You didn't notice the date at the top of the article did you?

Friday, July 06, 2001

At that point, Lance had only won two tours and was just about to start working on his third.

Why are you trolling this group? Did you find trolling in r.b.racing to challenging?

Even back in '01 ol Cliff should have been clued enough to know Lance is going to take 6 Tour de France wins.

Pity Lance can't seem to win something like the Milano-Torino, Italian races carry more weight than
French races with us pros, it's just the general public nobodies and Texans like you that hold the
Tour de France with such high esteem.

I haven't really regarded his posts so much as trolls, as I have considered them comedy. I kinda
thought he was doing comic relief on purpose.

Fabby's posts lighten the mood here if you read them right. Further, he makes a good reference point
when talking about some issues, such as length/rise of stems and such...you can compare to him, or
explain that elitists like him might think something is good or bad.

For example, I've mentioned my long, high rise stem on my road bike, and how it would irritate Fabs;
and I've talked about the gearing on my road bike being not elite like Fabreeze's.

You are on a tear lately!

Have you seen the new Igor Sight glasses from Carrera? They'd go great with your kit.

Look Boyd, it's not my fault you were born a red head. Check out the Euro scene or your local roadie
'A' group, you won't find any guys with red hair in that pack!

Face it, you weren't born to be a elite roadie.

And that lame troll meter thing got old years ago.

Yep. I find it humorous that he wasn't even good enough to be there and yet he casts aspersions.

Haselbacher was there, what are you talking about?

Although he did fail to finish at Loudenvielle on stage 14.

It was a long day, but all six climbs that day weren't climbs that I would consider to be tough.

He had the Col de Latrape, la Core, Portet d' Aspet, Mente, Portillon, and the Peyresourde. Now
going over those it should be no real problem staying with the likes of Ivan Basso and Jorg Jaksche.

In a way it's a good thing that we are losing some big teams like ONCE-Eroski next season as there
are way too many pros with division one and division two contracts.

We must keep the top teams only for the best of the elite and not get it watered down like it
has become.

????????????

WTF, does this have to do with you trolling this newsgroup? You only do so because the p33ps at rbr
would sniff out your pathetic attempts.

It isn't my goal to be an "elite roadie" (tm), or elite(ist) anything for that matter. I'm just to
trying to be the best cyclist I can. I really doubt my potential as a cyclist has anything to do
with the color of my hair.

Besides, you're just jealous of my beautiful red mane; its really transparent and pathetic. I think
I'll grow it into a mullet so you can envy it from your view at the back of the pack

Your english is not so good eh? I was talking about you not being there. You're the one
disrespecting Lance and you are nowhere to be seen.
