Forgive my ignorance but does "Dominican Republic" in the title refer to the location or the team?
If location, then the original question still stands as it asks about black pros in Europe.

I would not have doubted that for a moment -- that has been the case ever since the days of Major
Taylor, although it is unfortunate that participation is very limited. Nevertheless, the original
post was asking about black cyclists in Europe, so the picture, although interesting and somewhat
informative, is irrelevant to the thread.

Two things one related to post 1st- Maybe not today but some pro will think about giving atleast one
of them a look, which could lead to a pro contract.

2nd-Marco Polo (d3 team) has just added two Eritrean Riders.
