I was very interested to see how Danielson would do in Tour de L'Avenir. But today he did not start (2nd stage). Anybody know what's up? |

So what's going on with this? I'm sure Fassa is so stoked that their new wonderkid can't get through a day or two in either of the Euro races he has entered. The next two years are going to be fun!!! Good thing Postal didnt give him the invite.... What could it be- Stomach bug? High Hematocrit? Caught with needle in hand? Sore on his ass? Pate beat him and would lead? Enlighten please.... _JJ_ "John Forrest Tomlinson" <jt@jt10000removethesewords.com> wrote in message news:<NZ76b.195$ej1.96@nwrdny01.gnilink.net>... > "jim gravity" <usenet-forum@cyclingforums.com> wrote > > Must be something wrong with his CNS. > > Very funny. > > JT |

Perhaps he just didn't want to race it, but felt pressured because he was in Europe. It does nothing for Saturn if he's there, and Fassa already signed him - he was riding for the US National team. It appears the Fed just wanted a dream and he probably just wants a break. TdlA is a very difficult race (as my sources tell me) but should be within Dannyson's capabilities. chris d |

I've heard of the glass "half-full" but your pushing the optimism button a bit too hard. Yes, and notice the damage control or lack thereof. More than a few people have got to be talking.
