Or was it an ice cream making guy? Anyway, it was refreshing to hear Jay ask Lance about team tactics. I didn't expect that. I did expect him to ask Lance if all cyclists are gay because of the shaved legs and lycra. Oh yea, Lance "looks like a regular guy" - too funny. -- Marty |

Oh yea, Lance "looks like a regular guy" - too funny. Well, he does in civvies. Because the pants hide his legs. It's not like most popular team sports, since those all tend to emphasize gigantism and loads of musculature, while cyclists carry it all in their legs, have relatively normal-looking arms, and are normal height or less in most cases. So Lance comes out and he's this not-very-tall guy who is pretty light, too. And if you can't see his legs and lungs, there's really no way to tell off the bike. -- Ryan Cousineau, rcousine@sfu.ca http://www.sfu.ca/~rcousine President, Fabrizio Mazzoleni Fan Club |

There was a picture of Tyler during the Tour de France with his shirt off. Scary: he looked like he just escaped from Auschwitz (with tape on his shoulder). -- -- Lynn Wallace http://www.xmission.com/~lawall "I'm not proud. The doughboy they had doing it earlier this summer was actually a talented bike handler, based on the ease with which he maneuvered his road bike through the theater. -- -- Lynn Wallace http://www.xmission.com/~lawall "I'm not proud. I thought the pants hid the legs pretty well; that's why they're cut that way. But as morphological oddities go, Lance has nothing on bodybuilders, offensive linemen, basketball players, or Terrell Owens -- Ryan Cousineau, rcousine@sfu.ca http://www.sfu.ca/~rcousine President, Fabrizio Mazzoleni Fan Club |

Btw, the legs of the likes of Armstrong are not huge! I once rode on training with Boogerd and one thing that amazed me was how tiny his legs were. For bigger thighs look at sprinters, especially track of course. |

They tend to be impressive in the lack of fat and the high definition of muscle. That would never should through clothes and even in shorts, it is really nothing remarkable. Size matters in some things but not that. |

Oh yea, Lance "looks like a regular guy" - too funny. Could Leno suck any more at interviewing people. He has no rhythm, asks stupid questions, appears uninterested, and doesn't really listen. What a waste of a time slot. Kurt |
