I was wondering about this after viewing the pictures - who makes white tires? Then I saw this account at dailypeloton.com http://www.dailypeloton.com/displayarticle.asp?pk=5575 When it comes down to cyclocross, it comes down to the right material. When its muddy the wheels should get the best grip. A different grip though is requested when it's drier soil. Today the winner of the gold medal, Laurence Leboucher and the runner up Maryline Salvetat choose a new sort of tires to conquer for gold, the same sort of tires Ben Berden used in Hoogstraten.
