It's not worth having them there, and having the Italian police staging hotel raids every other day. The last thing the Giro organizers want is the news to be led off by police reports and footage of riders being taken for questioning. just my $.02 Bill C |

Thoughts? You can hardly blame the organizers. Thanks to the current anti-doping policy they are more or less obliged to be hypocrits. Benjo Maso |

The hell with dope. When they announce that Beamish gives you an unfair advantage, I'm back in training. Actually, if Beamish gives you an unfair advantage, I guess I'm already in training. Curtis L. A comment of my own is that I feel bad for Valverde. His form was so good and I like the way he rides just trying to win every race that he is in. Of course if he was doping then I don't feel so bad for him. -- |

Of course if he was doping then I don't feel so bad for him. Valverde just took his 8th win of the season today. Since it looks like he'll be relegated to races in Spain he'll probably be taking a lot more. -- |

He's actually had 11 wins now in this season, if you count the two points jerseys and the combination jersey he took home with him. I hate to say it, but the best thing for Valverde will be if Kelme folds, leaving him to jump elsewhere. I started a speculative thread about where he might go a while back... dare I suggest he might want to follow Oscar Sevilla to Phonak? -Sonarrat. |

But they're the longest running team still racing and they deserve a second chance. But they also deserve a kick in the ass which they have assuredly received. |

They got their second chance last year after the financial fiasco. If Comunitat Valenciana pulls out Kelme will crumble. -- |
