Any good (easy trails for my wife) biking on St. Johns, US VI?? Rental shops? Thinking of spending a week there in March, 2004. Thanks for any info. I understand the roads are a bit rough, and the Jeep or 4 wheel is standard??? http://members.aol.com/foxcondorsrvtns (Colorado rental condo) http://members.aol.com/dnvrfox (Family Web Page) |

I haven't been to St. Johns in a while, but if what I remember is true, forget the bikes and go hiking. Steep, windy, and narrow roads combined with lots of tourists and taxis (near Cruz Bay) make for dangerous riding. Away from Cruz Bay it isn't so bad, but the roads are still windy and narrow. I have also been informed there are no bike rentals there. http://members.aol.com/foxcondorsrvtns (Colorado rental condo) http://members.aol.com/dnvrfox (Family Web Page) |
