The Recreation Dept. of Annapolis County has published pamphlets for bicycle touring in the county. They are available as PDF files at: http://www.annapoliscounty.ns.ca/rec...is/bicycle.htm The "hardcopy" pamphlets should be available in local tourist bureaus. The tours listed are short day-trip loops but they could be strung together for a longer tour of the whole county. Free on-line maps of Nova Scotia suitable for cycling are hard to find. The official free highway map of Nova Scotia is available as a 2Mb PDF file at: http://gov.ns.ca/snsmr/pdf/maps/map_of_nova_scotia.pdf This map (even the hardcopy version) is not detailed enough for cycle touring but it gives a general overview of the province. -- David Dermott , Wolfville Ridge, Nova Scotia, Canada email: dermott@ns.sympatico.ca WWW pages: http://www.dermott.ca/index.html |
