I'm taking up cycling. It mostly explains why he doesn't have the time to ride in the Giro and the Vuelta. First he has to spend weeks to make these commercials, and then he probably has to take the time to count his 100$ bills. The city scene was filmed in San Francisco (spot the cable cars?) and I know one of the riders involved in the shoot. Dear Richard, Does this mean that if WalMart offers enough money, we might be seeing Lance leading the pack in the Tour, apparently on a Fury RoadMaster? I liked the stampeding buffalos. The ones that I pedal past at the zoo every day just stare. There's a herd a bit further out than I usually ride. When I drive out and take my dogs over to the fence, the huge beasts just drift slowly away without any dust or thundering hoofbeats. I suppose that someone will tell me that Lance was superimposed on the buffalo scene, too. Carl Fogel |

You may be right -- I'm just asking because I don't follow celebrity gossip and have no idea whether she is considered a good influence on him or not. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 VW Type 2 -- the Wonderbus (AKA the Saunabus in summer) KG6RCR |

At any rate, she apparently will be there. She won the LAF auction for: ... special access at the Tour de France. The winner will be invited to ride in the team follow car and attend the morning meeting on the team bus. I'm not ready, from anything I've seen or heard, to write him off. I think last year was a wakeup call to him and I think he realizes this. -=Dave=- |
