ok, it seems like i should change my topic slightly.. i just thought of an idea for a change to the paper.. you guys think it would make more sense if i took a couple different frames from each material from different compainies and compared them? and then i can show why one frame would be more ideal than the other.. that might work a bit better than what i had earlier.. say, i took the cannondale aluminum track frame and compared it to a another track frame either made of steel or of aluminum that had a radiaclly different design.. hhmm.. think i must about this subject.. but i think if i compare a few specific frames from different companies i might have a better paper.. thanks for the input guys.. oh ya.. i expect that when i post a message on a forum i dont expect to get it graded or criticized by people who i thought would help me.. if you arent going to leave any useful input i would like it if you wouldnt leave anything at all..... no offense intended... |

Hey Lenny, you're in college now. This is the real world and the jerks here are far worse than anything you could have imagined in high school. Anyhow, my intent was NOT to be an a**hole towards you. I apologize if you thought that. My post came out a little gruff. However, I still strongly suggest you learn to use the shift key at the appropriate times, as well as spell/grammar check and proofread. I know, you're thinking you will on your paper, but how FREAKIN' hard is it to use a shift key on a usenet posting?? Bad habits will carry through. I don't know or care what college you're attending, but when I took college courses (eons ago) anything that remotely resembled what is now "instant messaging style text" would never receive a passing grade. I know you don't want or need a lecture from some old jerk you don't know or care anything about so I'll go away now and leave you to your research. |

And the best way to do it by being an archeologist is the same, or alternatively you can write "Clan of the Cave Bear". There is probably an exception like that somewhere in bike shops as well. Like, start with a big fortune *or* invent the slant parallellogram derailer. (Okay, veering so far off the topic here it shouldn't even be in this group, but anyway.. Jasper |

"Please do my homework for me - and don't be mean about it". It's not a good idea, when begging for help from people who have no particular reason to do your research for you, to be snooty about the tone - or to write in a semiliterate scrawl. -- David Damerell <damerell@chiark.greenend.org.uk> Kill the tomato! |

I've been participating on Usenet News for over ten years and only recently can I recall anyone getting all worked up about top posting.
