Default Ambrosio Excellight?

Has anyone used this rim? It looks good with eyelets and sockets, but I can't make out any other
features (particularly welded/non- and machining).

Anyone know who is the distributor?

I use them. Laced 3X to Record hubs. No complaints. Looks cool too. Didn't buy them through the
internet though. Wouldn't know where to get them online.

Last I checked, http://www.ridecampy.com was the distributor.

Here's the page for the rim from this mail-order place:

I believe they are welded and machined. Nice rim.

Since the photo shows the "TQB" insignia, it's probably got machined sidewalls. There's an
explanation of TQB at the bottom of this page:

Robin,

I got a pair a few months ago....www.labicicletta.com out of Canada has them, although it doesn't
show on their website. It was my understanding at the time that Ambrosio does not distribute this
rim directly in the US. They have machined sidewalls and are quite nice. I was looking for something
in the same weight range as my Mavic Open Pros. I had Peter at Vecchio's build them up with my
Record hubs.

Very Open Pro-esque..have built some from Colnago-Ambrosio with their name on them...no complaints.
