Default GIANT PRODIGY DX

I was in a local bike shop today and rode one of these space age looking bikes. It's unique looks
are quite attractive. And it rides nice as well. I am currently riding a Diamondback Wildwood. Quite
a difference. Does anybody have any experience with one? How do those one piece aluminum wheel sets
hold up? I am a bit apprehensive about going from a$250 bike to a $1600 model. I have to wonder if I
would be just as happy with a $800 bike? I have not seen any other bikes that look like the Prodigy
though. And I suppose the look of the Prodigy is what I am after.

Thanks,

Speed
