Hi! I have two bikes, one with Shimano 9-speed Ultegra/105 and one with Campy 8-speed... and one spare set of wheels with shimano 9-speed hubs. I would like to know if it is possible to put the Campy 8-speed cassette on the shimano 9-speed hub, so I could use my spare set of wheels on my two bikes. Thnx! Phileault |

Campagnolo and Shimano 8-speed are close enough the same spacing that you should be able to put a Shimano 8-speed cassette on the hub and use it. I bought a dura-ace 8 spd cassette and ended up having to use a campy spacer kit made by Wheels Manufacturing in order for the shifting to be perfect. If i remember right it was red anodized also. |

Ya gotta use the red spacer kit to make a Shimano 8 speed cassette work well with Campy 8 speed. |

Won't work. Rob |

I think that he could use the Campy spacers for 8 of the Shimano cogs and not have to buy anything. |
