Avast, Ye Trailer-Homes! Spin the Wheel, Willie! There once was a Triumphantly broken-backed helmsman named Simon, Who Roved in his next knock-less monster, cryin' "Hoots! Aye, mon!" Off front-wheel-spinning-camera, we may have disagreed About Groundskeeper Vanna's lead-footed need for speed, But his mono-strous left-winged pogo-stick posts are satisfyin'. Scotsman Simon has boldy admitted to or helplessly exhibited: --a passion for boats (I couldn't work "boat-pox" in) --a somewhat naive (or blonde) vision of Sea- Attle's trailer parks --a bit of a shunt involving an earlier Triumph Spitfire and a broken back --a subsequent 150 mph Rover Loch Ness--er, Tomcat high-test petrol-guzzler (or knock-less monster) --a Simpsonian willingness to slap front wheels in front of a camera ("Job St. Brandt, that's the last time ye'll slap yer Willie around!") --a left-wing love for his Cannondale Lefty mono-fork semi-pogo- stick and for National Health schemes I admit that I like his posts, but am helpless to cram all of his eccentri--er, foib--I mean, quir-- that is, his unique traits into five lines. Next week: Andrew Muzi |

Please accept my congratulations. Although my limericks support the accusation of being "abrupted without concatenation," you may look forward to your installation to a pantheon above your station the week after Andrew Muzi's elevation. Your limerick will be something of an aberration in that it was written weeks ago in anticipation of less-than-universal admiration. It may provoke more exclamations, or even consternation, but I hope you need no explanation for this one-sided conversation. Again, please accept my acclamation. Carl Fogel-ogel-ation |

Thank you. It's easy, really, with the right subject matter, inspiration and motivation. You provided all those things, and so properly deserve most of the credit. >Although my limericks support the accusation of being "abrupted without concatenation," Thanks for clearing that up! >you may look forward to your installation to a pantheon above your station the week after Andrew >Muzi's elevation. You give new life to the quote from P.G. Wodehouse "We shall soon be having Christmas at our throats." >Your limerick will be something of an aberration in that it was written weeks ago in anticipation >of less-than-universal admiration. That sounds particularly ominous. I'll hope you're infused at the last minute with a generous dollop of the spirit of the holiday season. >Again, please accept my acclamation. Thanks for "getting it" without having to put winking smiley things everywhere just for making a little mischief. ------------------------------- John Dacey Business Cycles, Miami, Florida http://www.businesscycles.com Now in our twenty-first year.
