Avast, Ye Trailer-Homes! Spin the Wheel, Willie!

There once was a Triumphantly broken-backed helmsman named Simon, Who Roved in his next knock-less
monster, cryin' "Hoots! Aye, mon!" Off front-wheel-spinning-camera, we may have disagreed About
Groundskeeper Vanna's lead-footed need for speed, But his mono-strous left-winged pogo-stick posts
are satisfyin'.

Scotsman Simon has boldy admitted to or helplessly exhibited:

--a passion for boats (I couldn't work "boat-pox" in) --a somewhat naive (or blonde) vision of Sea-
Attle's trailer parks --a bit of a shunt involving an earlier Triumph Spitfire and a broken back
--a subsequent 150 mph Rover Loch Ness--er, Tomcat high-test petrol-guzzler (or knock-less monster)
--a Simpsonian willingness to slap front wheels in front of a camera ("Job St. Brandt, that's the
last time ye'll slap yer Willie around!") --a left-wing love for his Cannondale Lefty mono-fork semi-pogo-
stick and for National Health schemes

I admit that I like his posts, but am helpless to cram all of his eccentri--er, foib--I mean, quir--
that is, his unique traits into five lines.

I hope that I shall never see A Fogel poem about thee.

I speak in epithets and curses Each time I read his vile verses.

It seems no rule this poet fetters - Our unencumbered Man Of Letters.

With painful rhymes and void of rhythm, Lit'rary merit ain't within 'em.

God, Kilmer said, makes oaks and firs, Please save us now, from wooden verse.

Now, I'm _sure_ there'll never be A Fogel poem about me.

Humor is enjoyed, you see by many people, including me

These verses written by Carl seem terribly to make you snarl

I do not know any poetry rules I write much like many dumb fools

My poetry has extra-simple rhymes and blanks lines appear every two times

Carl's may be better or worse but I really enjoy his verse

My contribution to this newsgroup is small I imagine that I'm not worthy at all (but) Funny indeed
it would be to see a poem about little old me Am I worthy?

Dear John,

Nicely done!

Please accept my congratulations.

Although my limericks support the accusation of being "abrupted without concatenation," you may look
forward to your installation to a pantheon above your station the week after Andrew Muzi's
elevation.

Your limerick will be something of an aberration in that it was written weeks ago in anticipation of
less-than-universal admiration.

It may provoke more exclamations, or even consternation, but I hope you need no explanation for this
one-sided conversation.

Again, please accept my acclamation.

Thank you. It's easy, really, with the right subject matter, inspiration and motivation. You
provided all those things, and so properly deserve most of the credit.

Thanks for clearing that up!

You give new life to the quote from P.G. Wodehouse "We shall soon be having Christmas at
our throats."

That sounds particularly ominous. I'll hope you're infused at the last minute with a generous dollop
of the spirit of the holiday season.

>Again, please accept my acclamation.

Thanks for "getting it" without having to put winking smiley things everywhere just for making a
little mischief.
