I am curious, has anyone used one of the hubs from a 20 spoke Mavic Cosmic Expert or Cosmic Equipe, with one of the newer 20 spoke Mavic SSC rims? I realize current Mavic wheels use FTS-L hubs and Zicral (aluminum) spokes but I am sure there are bladed stainless spokes of correct size available, which makes this combination fesible in my mind. Anyone know for sure? I have two rear wheels with rims cracking at the nipples, but with perfectly good freehubs in place and ready to reuse. Thanks in advance for feed back. Terry |
