I have a set of spin wheels and want to know what I need to do to make them compatible with Campy
Record 10. I have a Shimano Ultegra 8 right now, but I am upgrading to new components. I just need
to know what to do to the cassette body or cogs themselves to make them fit the Campy parts.

What's a "spin wheel"?

You need a 10-speed conversion cassette. This is an Ultegra or Dura Ace cassette that has been
remanufactured with different spacing. Two manufacturers of these are Wheels Manufacturing and Shook
Designs (aka, American Classic).

Just about any bike shop should be able to order them.

Online you can find them at Excel Sports, Branford Bike, probably others, and direct from Shook
Designs at http://www.shookdesigns.com/

The Bill Shook's product is a bit less expensive but he only offers 11-23, 12-23, and 12-25. Wheels
offers 11-21 thru 11-27.

I have only used the Wheels product myself and it works very well. There are a few hubs that it
doesn't work well with, and probably some that it hasn't been tested on since there are many goofy
Shimano-compatible products out there.

Spin Wheel = A trispoke "aero" wheel made by the company "Spin" who apparently has gone out of
business or is headed that way. Exact same thing as a Specialized Trispoke wheel.

I worked for a LBS that was an authorized "Spin" dealer, and the only set I ever saw were trispokes.
Could you inlighten me on the names of these of other wheels.
