Cooking eggs in bacon grease

During the Q and A session of tonight's Jeopardy the middle contestant said that he cooked eggs in
bacon grease and the eggs turned purple and they (he and the other campers) got sick. How would this
cause someone to get sick?

It was all the bull**** he spewed that sickened the group. Or the eggs tuned purple because he also
fried up some Psilocybe Cubensis. That'll make ya' puke every time.

It must have been the drugs they were doing the night before.

I've been making bacon and eggs in the same pan for 20+ years. Never seen a purple egg that didn't
have food coloring in it.
