Some runners are attractive to some females, some of the
time.

I run four or five times a week, at approximately the same
time, and I tend to run into the same girls and housewives
that smile real big at me and I just know they'd love to
have me if only I'd stop. But I never stop, and I never
will. I enjoy the fantasy much more than I ever would the
real thing.

I must be going at the wrong time, when do you find
all these horny housewives on the street? I'll change
my schedule.

A few years ago, my wife's "Glamour" magazine had an article
on the best places to meet (good) men. The #2
recommendation: Join a running club.

They're, of course, talking about slender, in-shape males,
not those trying to lose 25+ pouinds.

Between five and six PM, you are bound to see a lot of
people on the streets. But as much as I enjoy an audience, I
have to be honest and admit I run better when it's cool and
quiet. It's just that sometimes I have the feeling some
girls are checking be out, I don't know what to make of it.

i believe it. I've read that 5% of males prefer fat women.
Let's assume (oh..oh) that the reverse is true. And we have
an estimate that 60% of the population is obese.

Doing some math, this means that 95% of all women would like
to select a potential mate from 40% of the men. Most runners
should be in the slim category (eventually). So, looks to me
like clear cut... women prefer runners.

Now, as a man, I stand to be corrected, but if a man also
does some upper body weights and builds his
chest/shoulders/arms, he should be even more attractive to
women. I say this because I'm pretty sure there are NO
skinny men in Chippendales. ...thehick

Yes, butt unfortunately it's not mutual. Runners are by
nature, gay, all of them.

Then why do you hide in the bushes at the schoolyard?

That group of angry parents chasing you with clubs and bats
tends to bring out the best in your running.

Well, maybe someday you can go on a date with one, or maybe
even TALK to one, and some of the mystery will be gone.
