Everyone is born with a different maximum heart rate and
stroke volume. Some people with low max HR have more
efficient hearts, so it means nothing. While max HR declines
with age, the better condition you maintain over your
lifetime, the less it will decline. Only by comparing your
HR at 20 to your HR later in life can you make a comparison.
