I probably thought you deserved it then. ;-)

Dry climate? Now there's a wimpy get-out clause if ever I
saw one. ;-)

As to races, I missed the Glen Rosa horseshoe race this year
and would love to have a crack at it next year. Failing
that, I'll almost certainly be having another crack at the
Lairig Ghru next year. If you don't like either of those,
I'm sure we can find a hill race or a spot of orienteering
somewhere. I've always fancied another go at it.

OK, let's shoot for the LG in '05. I've trotted through
there but never raced it, so it should be worth the effort
of doing a spot of training. I won't pretend that the
possibility of competing in foul weather doesn't 'cause me
some degree of concern - you're well aware of my feelings on
running in rain - but, as they say, 'into every life...'

Anyone else care to join us? Anders? Jonathon? Doug? Surf?

Roidger, The fear that grips you knowing that if you ever
meet anyone from here in real life, you'd almost certainly
get a punch in the mouth, will keep you anonymous. Although
I freely admit that a punch in the mouth by a runner is
about equal to a slap by a 90lb girl, to a 90lb'er like you
that's enough to make you wet-fart your Depends.

Oh for god's sake you can get a return flight to Scotland
for the price of a couple of tyres for your car. As I said
to Surf, get yourself here and your accommodation is free.
I'll even meet you at the airport. You can supply your own
food though, you carniverous Yank.
