I won't inundate the group with ads, but since I'm RD for a race, and am ordinarily a regular*, figure it's worth a mention here. The race is the 18th running of the Springburst 8k, April 10th, in Greenbelt National Park, Greenbelt MD. The course is not-flat, but through a scenic area. Mile marks are freshly repainted and will be marked by sign and a marshall calling times. See http://www.pgrc.org/races/springburst.html for more details including entry forms and past years' results. * As with many people, I post and read less when I'm running less. Lately I've hardly been running at all, for non-running reasons. Hoping for 2-3 miles tonight. -- Robert Grumbine http://www.radix.net/~bobg/ Science faqs and amateur activities notes and links.
