Default Ahhh--Relativity

This morning it looked like a band of thunderstorms were heading the way of the Purdue Pool, and
since they close during lightning, I decided to be "smart" and head to the high school that held
early practice. As soon as I plunged in I knew I was in trouble. I couldn't catch my breadth. "Hey
Coach! This water is freezing!", I yelled. "Yea! I know all about it! Been on their butts all week
about the broken heater; it's about 77 degrees now". I managed to survive 2000 yards before calling
it quits with uncontrollable shivering. But, when I tyically do 7500 yards (or 7000 meters LC), this
was but a drop in a cold bucket (pun intended). So, I decided to take my chances and head to Purdue
afterall. Ha! No lightning, and swimming was going on as usual. So, I picked a spot and jumped into
what just yesterday was a cold 80-81 degrees. Whoa! Bath water at 80-81 degrees today.

See, we used to just let the four year olds in the cold pool. Warmed it right up in about five
minutes...
