Question Recommend - computer for tandem

Hello,
I have a new RANS Screamer XXL tandem. I would like to know what computers are recommended by those experienced with recumbents and computers.

According to one of the local bike shops, the current wireless computers have a signal drop when the handlebar unit is over 75cm from the wheel pickup. I would like to use wireless if possible, however, I will use a wired version if rider experience shows the signal drop to be a real problem. Any experience using these with a RANS Screamer tandem (or other recumbent) over 75 cm?

Also, I would like to have a second computer for the stoker. Any recommendations on a computer that would fit the stoker position and where it might be mounted to avoid knee-to-computer collisions?

Thanks - Doug

I have a Rans Screamer XXL. I use the Topeak Panoram computer on this tandem plus on my other five (5) recumbnets. These computers are the wired model. They are excellent in my opinion because of there one screen wide viewing area.
