Hello, I have a new RANS Screamer XXL tandem. I would like to know what computers are recommended by those experienced with recumbents and computers. According to one of the local bike shops, the current wireless computers have a signal drop when the handlebar unit is over 75cm from the wheel pickup. I would like to use wireless if possible, however, I will use a wired version if rider experience shows the signal drop to be a real problem. Any experience using these with a RANS Screamer tandem (or other recumbent) over 75 cm? Also, I would like to have a second computer for the stoker. Any recommendations on a computer that would fit the stoker position and where it might be mounted to avoid knee-to-computer collisions? Thanks - Doug |
