[QUOTE=T Stutler]A Canadian company called Better Motion has come out with a recumbent trike of sorts called the Hiker. Does anyone know anything about these? Never heard of them. The main advantages that they are claiming are lower cost, higher seat, and different propulsion system. At $2K (Can) they are more expensive than an EZ-3, which also has a higher seat (as do most delta trikes,) and I tend to view strange new drivetrain setups with a jaundiced eye. I can't say the seat impresses me, either. Circular cranks, derailleurs, etc, are prevalent because they work so well. Are you thinking of getting one? Maybe you can write up a review |
