since there are different types of steroids and they all react and perform differently in your body, i went with the safer deca (nandrolone) and equipose (boldanone). there are the most widely used steroids on the market with little or no side effects. paulo pezzo and mark french are just two cyclist who've recently been handed a suspension for these drugs. while testosterone is one that will make you retain water, break out, and cause mood swings- that's why i don't think floyd knowingly took test- i believe he probally got a blood transfusion and that blood had the testosterone in it... just a thought. epo is something i will try this year since i was able to find it at a very good price. i'm looking forward to having a great season! |

Forget the moral dimension of the user's decision for a moment. It's the practical side of the equation that amazes me. For someone whose profession is at stake to use steroids (especially when its use among pros is widespread) is at least understandable. For an amateur to run such health risks just to be able to beat a few more amateurs is crazy. |

some of my friends think there should be two elite classes- one for users and one for "clean"- or just make them legal across the board since it's almost impossible to stop all the use. almost everyone takes some form of supplement trying to mimic the steroids or gain muscle, speed, endurance... it's not a fact of everyone is using them so i should to, it's more of wanting to be the best at what you are doing. 60% of the olympians at sydney had medical excuses for albuterol or clenbuterol, is there treally that many asthmatics that go to the olympics? |

PED's work, and work well at that. i was just trying to be honest and tell my story. look at franky, roberto, tyler, sanitago, mancebo, these guys are roll models to us all. where do you think i got the idea in the first place? i'm not saying the are a good choice, it's something i did- like many other athletes. pro or not, PEDs are a fact of life. |

Well, even assuming you are telling the truth (I really doubt it), it's just stupid to use PEDs for your level. Stupid to use PEDs without strict oversight of a doctor. With epo, you could easily kill yourself, many have. There's a reason 'clean' riders like Armstrong travel with their doctors. |

Lance travels with a Doctor so he doesnt get caught and he, as you say gets administered his PED correctly. Wake up plese people, howcome all the top riders are clean and all the rest not wining races and Tours are useing?? It would make sense for someone to stay clean if only the clean riders are winning. Take the wool off your eyes please. |

If the rider is an aging male, then his body produces less testosterone, and getting more into his body might actually make him feel and act younger. ****, they won the Nobel Prize for Viagra! Anti-aging clinics prescrbe testosterone and its derivatives for aging every day! We are all hypocrites! Freakin' confused. Which one of you could say with any certainty that if you were a pro rider you might not try PED's? This poster may just make the pro's because he's responding to these drugs, which are not really harmful in the doses cyclists take them.

I've known some football players who partook in the Roids. They know damn well that the drugs improved their ability to play the game competitively. Same reason even the police where starting to have problems with the drugs in their own ranks. No doubt, the drugs gave them a more direct path to effectively defending themselves against some of the more aggressive individuals. In one way I would like to see sports where there are catagories for players on drugs. It is really all a question of where to draw the line. So, realistically, when the descent people are asked to decide on the legality of the possibility of people ruining their health, or even killing themselves using these drugs (as many would be happy to do in hopes of winning what they never could otherwise), I think the outcome of such rulings would be obvious. Also, ultimately, one would almost definately have to be a junkie to remain competitive under such conditions, because drugs do work. If everyone was forced to take performance enhancing drugs to remain competitive, the ones that do now would be reduced to what they where before. Last edited by zorly; 01-08.-2007 at 02:11 AM. |

First off, "if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas". This lame-ass is NOT a pro, he is (by his own admission) a so-so cat 3. The fact that he's an AMATEUR on PEDs racing against other AMATEURS who are still apparently kickin' his ass is pretty lame on his part IMO. I guess in the drug-induced coma you must be in the ends justify the means and basically "everything goes". However, in mine and many others' world, there remains such trivial matters such as, INTEGRITY, FAIRNESS, TRUST, LAW-ABIDING, DIGNITY, SPORTSMANSHIP, etc...obviously virtues for which you know nothing of. You and your Dr. Ferrari philosophy need to move on to some other sport (how about curling) to corrupt and pollute...Peace |
