Rep Power: 15 | | My latest ride. Weighs about 15lb, will replace the pedals with Keywins soon I hope. I have AC420's for racing.
It's true that alot of the importance is the pedler and not the bike, however a nice bike does motivate you to train harder.
I hear the CR1 is being released in the US soon, is anyone looking at buying?

Rep Power: 0 | | Sort of a new / old bike: 1985 Reparto Corsa Bianchi SL/SP superset frame, decked out with a mix of Record / Chorus 9-speed parts, with a set of early 90's Athena single-pivot brakes. Wheels are Campy Chorus hubs laced 3x with DT Revs front and Revs NDS / Comps DS to Campy Omega Strada Hardox V tubular rims, running Conti Sprinters. Custom paint by Troy Courtney, a very small framebuilder in the western suburbs of Chicago. |

Hopefully will be posting my pics soon! Cant wait! | I am thinking of buying A Lemond BA. How dp you like the geometry and the carbon and steel mix now that you have had the bike for a while. I'm 5'11" and 173#. I've heard that the Lemond is built for a shorter leg and longer upper body, but the shop said that that was not really true and I should buy a bike that fits and not worry about what some of the reviews say. Your thoughts??
thanks |
