Good job. Never confine a bike to the garage, the shed, or the basement. It'll kill your karma toute de suite.

Well I will start off saying I own a 5.5 Madone which is basically the same bike, do not know what wheels you are on or tires for that matter but I would go with looking at different wheels first. I had my mind set on a Willer Izoard, then tried a Cervelo S3, then a Giant something, a Tarmac, and then I sat on the Madone, I was blown away by this bike so much different feling than the others. I do however have the RaceXLite wheels with Conti GP 4000 tires and also a set of Dura Ace 50mm carbon wheels and there is definatly a difference. The bonti wheels roll great and are actually lighter but for speed on flats and downhill along with amazing comfort as in almost too comfy nothing touches those DA wheels. If you think a new bike will feel light and snappy you may be in for a surprise! Hey if it makes you feel good thou go for it.

Yes and let me just add that including being lightning fast... Felt bikes just look sooo sick. Nothing against Cervelo or Giant.... I like them alot too. But Felt... ohhh how I dream of getting a Felt Bike... soon....

The 5.2 is certainly not a sluggish bike... My fiancee has the 5200, which as I understand it is the predecessor of the Madone 5.2. The thing is agile on descents and certainly climbs as good as anything else in its price range. One thing though, the stock wheels are indeed a little sluggish. She replaced them with Williams System 30 wheels which made a huge difference. I had to get a new frame just so I could keep up! Well, actually that was due to a crash, but the side effect of being able to keep up on descents was an added bonus!

. The only thing is the paint chipped off around the dropouts from my roof rack, but I think that's normal.
