Wow!!! Looks Like a-lot of girls love riding
I am 27, I live in South Texas....been riding for 6 months. Completly addicted. I am a recreational rider. I take care of my 4 year old son during the day, and e-bay at night. I try to ride about 15 miles in the A.M. all depending on how many times I take my golden retreiver out, too potty at night![]() |

could you please explain to me? You are cute, a triathlete and gay.
What is the thought process behind that? I mean I could understand bi, you could double your pleasure and double your fun that way! But gay you kind of limit yourself don't ya think? I'm not at all against you being gay, just curious. My aunt is gay. I would however love to see some pictures of your cute and gay self should you be dying to send me some. Quote:

OK, so this is going to turn into a dating service? I'm a 42 yr old very physically fit straight woman. I wouldn't mind a fit, energetic road cycling partner in his early to late 40's. I'd love to hear from anyone in the vacinity of Smithtown, NY. ![]() |

You can count me in. I am 48 years old, live in San Diego, and ride my bike. I also ride horses and go to the gym for cycling classes and the lap pool. My husband and i ride on the weekends. It is something we both enjoy and get to do it together, I think it helps in our overall relationship. We have Specialized Sequias and ride about 100 miles a week.

Howdy, another female to add to the list. I live in the D.C. area. Used to bike commute and do little joyrides along asphalth paths. Then decided I wanted something with more bumps and jumps, so I started downhill mountain biking/racing last year. It has been a blast. If anyone wants to know more about downhilling, please ask.
Nice to see so many women on the forum!

Hi, another newbie cyclist, that started by spinning! I don't see many women riding when I do. Mostly, I'm the only cyclist, but that's the part of town I live in..I ride for recreation and fitness, and I'm looking forward to increasing my endurance for longer rides, and group/charity rides, etc. I joined the local club, but I work 3-midnight, so I miss all the organized rides. I'd love to find someone to ride on weekends with, male or female, but my bike is not a fast road bike, it's more a commuter bike. I broke my wrist last summer trying to ride a friend's hybrid after 30 years of not riding. I didn't learn from my mistakes til I broke my wrist. But I don't have a problem riding by myself, and I'm going to get more experience, stronger, and eventually a custom road bike--with clipless pedals*
*if I can get over my phobia about them! Oh, and I've never been on any forums til cycling got into my blood!! I even fell in love with racing!! |

Panama City, FLorida area
Recently re-discovered the joy of cycling. Originally started as part of fitness program when I quit smoking 5 years ago. I now own a decent bike (Trek 7200) what a difference from the cheapie department store 'hybrid'. Now at 46 and breathing better than ever I commute often as possible now 15miles round trip. This week I found an older Trek 930 sitting in front of a pawn shop needing some care and attention. Bought the bike for not much, took it to LBS getting all tuned up and now I can join in the off-road fun. A good friend has a vintage(?) Trek road bike I want to try -- I am thinking about starting a real training program with a metric centry goal for spring. Does this seem feasible? ![]() |

Another chick to the long list...
25yo from Melbourne, cycle to work, to the supermarket, and anywhere else I have to get to:-) Also cycle 50-70km trips on weekends when weather permits (it's been freezing and wet for way too long... only now it's starting to get better). |
