Looking foward to it big time.

Will be after joining a club down there getting on some group rides meeting up with sme cycling buddies.

Any local knowledge you can give me would be much appreciated.

Ps Don't laugh at how much I rug up for the climate you have to understand I'm from a hoy country.

When you get to Limerick - the Limerick CC meet every Sat and Sunday morning at University of Limerick (beside the swimming pool on the campus).

I'll mail you privately with the name of the guy at the Limerick CC - and you can take it from there.

Styker Howmedica - yeah I know them : good employers.
They've been in Limerick for years : good reputation as employers too.

Hi, another Dub here. Irish might be interested in my rants on the state of the cycling "facilities" here in Dublin.

I'll be doing some longer distance stuff over Christmas, couple of runs along the canal down to Mayo, hopefully several times. Hope to train for the Paris-Brest-Paris next year.

Hey - the cycle track in Eamonn Ceannt Park (otherwise known as Sundrive Road) is superb !

Best of luck with the trip to Mayo : don't evny you with the traffic (especially in winter!)

Hi there I live in Sixmilebridge, Clare. We have just started up a group for winter. Every Sun 10.30 from the main village square. So anyone in the area come along & get the numbers up. We had 8 last Sunday. Pace is slowish 25-26kph to accomodate the weeker ones & we are only doing 50-60km but a few of us will fly off & do a couple of harder stints & of course as the numbers go up we can split into slow & fast groups.
