Aww. If you come up to Norfolk, I'll let you have a go - honest :-) >Looking forward to hearing tales from the dark side! I'm looking forward to getting out there! Toe straps are nearly impossible to reach on bent trikes, and anything else has means you have to fight gravity to keep feet up :-). Its not as if you can fall off when stationary ! Hope you enjoy Mr Frosty. I'm surprised you'd not been to Kevin's shed & garden before. A place devoted to the weird and wonderful. I had huge fun riding Kevin' Ice-Q demonstrator a few months ago, and may be looking to get a Q-NT model come the spring. In the mean time I have a two wheeled PDQ, which got very dirty yesterday riding along a lane covered in a thick muddy slurry. It being the "end of term" 'bent lunchtime ride, led by Pete Whelan (to bring the thread round again).... - Nigel -- NC - Webmaster for http://www.2mm.org.uk/ Replies to newsgroup postings to the newsgroup please. |

Be interested to know how you find it mixing with traffic compared to on the uprongs. I felt more confident (and felt that drivers slowed better/gave more room) on the anthrotek - mostly cos a trike takes up more room I think, plus it allowed me to signal *properly* whilst still remaining in control, but then others seem to be more concerned that their visibility on a 'bent isn't as good as an upright. Hence my curiousity to see how you find it on the lanes of Norfolk, since they're not all that far removed from the lanes of Cambridgeshire (though a million miles from the streets of south london!). And yes, we need pics!!! -- Velvet |
