Or do the 3 Seas from Halifax which is close to me. It is essentially Halifax to East Coast and back then Halifax to West Coast and back. Or I might just do my own thang. I think the 800Km LEL starts from Thorne and goes to Endinburgh back. |

There is a 600km semi-organised perm Cambridge-York this year on Jul 2nd, nearly entered it but the thought of having to make up my own route was too daunting. The Long flat 600 from Doncaster is supposedly an easy one. |

I like making my own routes which is one less 'attraction' of orgainsed events for me. I thought the Lonf Flat One had been discontinued ? leaving Y-C-Y the only easy 600 in the North. The White Rose 600 also out of York is plain silly. |

I nearly did an Essex based 600 for my SR until I found out that it spent almost no time in East Anglia and went over to the Cotswolds instead ;-( |

I'm sure I read somewhere that many of those who packed on PBP
qualified on the LFO. |

You just pick the start out of convenience to get there/back. Still can't quite conceive of doing more than a 200 at the moment. That is my target for this year (a 200 km audax and a sub 28 minute ten). ...d |

start, the ride will go everywhere else eventually. You just pick the start out of convenience to get there/back that's what I thought with the 600 I did, in fact it never went further than about 100km from the start. It also dispelled any thoughts I had about East Anglia being flat. |

I realise this is leaving the testing of the new seat installation until the last possible moment, but I've been off with the dreaded lurgi all week. I may actually have to work out some proper training for this one though. ;-) Jon |

I was considering asking how you'd got on with that, but you obviously hadn't! ;-) I did get an enquiry the other day from someone who'd seen the website[1] who was looking at fitting the HPVelo seat to a KMX-X. I'll drop him a line in a month or so and see how he got on. Jon [1] Scary actually. My email address is not published on the website, so he read it, gleaned my name from a different page to the one featuring the seat, then found me (presumably via Google groups), de-spammed my email address and got in touch. I was thoroughly impressed. |
