No MJF route yet but assuming the same as last year (which it probably
will be as they don't have too many Hors cats in East Sussex and all the ones they do have are on the route) it will take in climbs at Brightling, Doleham and Fairlight Beacon. After that it setlles down a bit. |

seen a Trice tip backwards ;-) |

I think it was just for the day of the ride, very unsociable though; on
the L2B a lot of pubs put signs out directing riders slightly off route they are so keen on the business (and those are the best ones to use, no great queues or plastic glasses) |

Wot MartinM said. I rode back to London Town Devine after the 2003 version and jolly nice it was too, save for the acquisition of a conk so sunburned it frightened small children and old ladies. Alas, I missed it last year after an apparently-innoucuous collision with Wiltshire the previous Sunday resulted in a trapped nerve and a fortnight of uncontrollable whining every time I /thought/ about moving my arm. Bah! If the weather is OK and I'm not Otherwise engaged... -- Dave Larrington - http://www.legslarry.beerdrinkers.co.uk/ World Domination? Just find a world that's into that kind of thing, then chain to the floor and walk up and down on it in high heels. (Mr. Sunshine) |

There's a thread running on C+ about coaches with someone other than the organisers also organising one. John B |

I should be OK to ride back to the nearest station the next am after a large pile of eggs beans and coffee if there is no coach. The whole thing sounds very atmospheric, although I can think of better places to be on a Saturday night than Epping Forest, almost as bad as when I got caught up in the Fatboy Slim Brighton Beach posse during a 400. |

IIRC the best place to train back from is Ipswich (40 km) now they've finished the engineering works on the tunnel. A couple of lads I was with in 2003 bailed out at Sudbury (100 km) on the way back. > The whole thing sounds very atmospheric, although > I can think of better places to be on a Saturday night than Epping > Forest, almost as bad as when I got caught up in the Fatboy Slim > Brighton Beach posse during a 400. The Epping Forest bit isn't too bad and is over quite quickly; taking a wrong turning and going through Halstead at club-chucking-out-time was rather worse. The chippie there was still open, but infested with chavs, so we didn't stop. -- Dave Larrington - http://www.legslarry.beerdrinkers.co.uk/ World Domination? Plus in 2003 I reached Great Waldingfield at about 2 am... -- Dave Larrington - http://www.legslarry.beerdrinkers.co.uk/ World Domination?
