And as for the shape Tesco think women are... beggars belief.

Apparently, women have a waist larger than their arse. Or vice-versa.
With stick-thin legs...

It's cold sometimes. Actually I wear a giant romper suit, but that's between
me and my caving wardrobe.

cheers,

Exactly :-) What is the point of a pair of jeans that swim around the
waist (at least two sizes bigger than the arse size) yet the legs are a
size, probably two, smaller than the arse... making total size variance
between legs and waist 3-4 sizes!

I've given up now - having tried and tried (they're convenient, I hate
going 'clothes shopping') I've had to accept they're made for aliens,
not me, and have much better luck ordering cheap (though a little more
expensive at 12 quid a pair) online that fit great.

Oh, and I was doing to try the 4 quid ones from tesco, but a) they were
alien shaped, and b) the only size they had were for
extra-heffalump-sized-alien-shaped people, and I'm not *quite* there yet ;-)

In the states (which I know really doesn't help much) they are $299
and therefore about £160. However not sure if we are talking identical
spec here and of course there is VAT to add but even so a big
difference. You'll probably save a lot of money if you buy a bike
thats come directly from taiwan to the uk rather than come via the
usa.

are you sure your not putting them on upside down !

To quote Les Dawson....................when his mother-in -law walked across
the beach her bum wiped away her footprints !

I bet they'd fit her !

Absolutely sure :-)

It's only blokes that put items of clothing on upside down over their
heads ;-)

No, the alternative resulted in an enormous grin from the postman and a
nonchalent 'maybe he hasn't realised' wave from me... ;-)
