Speaking of Lithium, do you see how that Mr. Arzouian, once he gets a bit "excited", that his posts sort of degrade? They start off as coherent and then get sloppy, fast and excitable, and then morph into something unrelated? Check out the last post, as Patrick would say, "vintage Ed." Someone says that a thread is offensive, and Ed starts lambasting Patrick, saying he's lying about his own heritage, and then says the SAME point he just made in another, nothing to do with the actual point and he keeps typing and
gtpyping and going on bout the naked bike race and cycling and i write 20000 articles not briefs and i think Patrick is stupid Sakstahchewan sucks Kinash is crazy you'tre all dubmb sdumb dubm bumb dumb you know nothing I know everythying Quote:

I'm not trying to change the subject on my joke. It was just that a joke, a a rather funny one. I am laughing at myself in it as much as anybody else, since I am fulll half-French Canadian very fluent in the language and live in Quebec and have for about 32 of my 43 years, which is far more than Van de Wille can say for Illinois. He is commenitng on Canadian cycling (and Quebec politics) from the US and has not been to a race in Canada for probably five years or more ( I do not know if he has ever done anything political in Quebec at all). He will not admit when he attended his last race or where. Did you attend the 2003 Road Worlds in Hamilton Patrick they were not too far away? Big cyclign fan like you, you must have ben there? Which races did you watch? I happen to think if you want to comment on Quebec it helps to live here, it adds more credibilty to your statment. Just like if you want to comment on cycling it helps to have some experience in that as well, more than just as a spectator and reporter. Thanks for the tip on the dosage issue. Do you have experience there? Experience, it is key. Let me know what dosage you're on. Thx, again..... |

Of course I did. My reasons for not living in Quebec are my own, and have nothing to do with politics or a lack of patriotism. Given the post that started this thread, I think you're in a poor position to say someone else lacks devotion to his home province. Do you laugh at blacks by posting threads in ebonics? And on the Legacy non-issue, I'm not interested in responding because I totally agree with peloquma and I also have no interest in beating a dog that was already killed in another forum. The rest of your personal stuff against me is boring and stupid, and if you think it's lessening my credibility I'm afraid you're mistaken - in fact, it's probably having the opposite effect. I don't need to report to you when I last saw a race in Canada nor when I expect to next, although you might be surprised at the answer. |

You can see Patrick's PR skills at work.
See how he can avoid a simple question. Biggest cycling event in 29 years in Canada in Hamilton in 2003. Did you attend? Should be simple enough to answer. As for the Legacy issue I have seen no comment from him on that since the new press release from the CCA last week. |

Hey Ed, Patrick's been trying to stick to the thread as much as he can: "Appy St. Jean LaBatt, esti! " But you are the one who keeps trying to deflect. And your PR skills are not quite at his level, but thanks for trying. Just another reason you are sitting at home today not in Ottawa, I'd gather. You're sloppy and a bad writer.
Good day Sir. Quote:

Hey Eddie
Why can't you take a hint. People are tired of reading your meaningless crap. If only my french was better, I could tell you to buzz off in french as well, just to keep to the timbre of this topic. To quote a famous Rhode Island Red, "Your lips are flappin boy, but you ain't saying nuthin". |

"Hey Eddie
Why can't you take a hint. People are tired of reading your meaningless crap." Yes, you must be right. After 4796 views of the latest eight threads I have written in they must be tired. Go back and look how many views threads had here before I began posting. Then go to Pedal forum and see how many views they have now and what they used to get when I was posting there. Also note on Pedal the threads ABOUT me get the most views. Somebody must be reading, you are after all. |

It's called voyeurism, people like to see how wacko you are, much like scenesters standing in line to see the ugly side of Micheal Jackson...
Edit: Actually, from now on, I am going to call you Tom Cruise, cause you're as scary and almost as popular. |

I'd say it's more like slowing down to see a car accident on a highway.

By the way, Mr. Arzouian, it appears you tried again (!) today to post on the pedal forum but they removed it. What is wrong with you? Why do you keep blasting them and then posting, even though they keep banning you? It's very OCD. You tried the same, it seems, a few times last week on Pedal, and CC too, right?
Give it up, you appear even more whacko then you do here when you pull that. Good day sir. Quote:

UBoat, I agree, these forums are like a car accident, you do not want to look, but you do. I guess that is one reason we keep coming back, good or bad.

Once again, it looks as though I'm one of the few who find the Ed backlash far more tedious than his posts.
(Not that it's necessarily worth a great deal, considering the fact I'm wasted.Which makes me think everyone should have a few drinks -- and possibly more -- before reading Ed's posts. You see, from my perspective, Ed is playing you guys like a...I don't know -- some instrument or another. Seems to me that most readers lamely try to adopt Ed's crudest rhetorical devices in an attempt to to discredit his essential point. Eg. Uboat's claim that Ed is a bad writer, and Patty's interpretation of political correctness -- which, by the way, is yawn inducing. Lest anyone think I'm an unabashed Ed supporter, let me ad that I'm in opposition to almost every one of Ed's political points, including his views on the seperatist movement.) With that said, I want to ad, Ed, that in my view, political rallys are far more relevant than religious ones. I call that progress. P.S. A word of advice to Patty: Don't post messages on cyclingforums saying you're done with Ed and gleefully claim on Pedal that you riled him up. Bad form. |

Does that mean I have a choice between Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers? You know, I have always thought Mimi was better looking. Ever seen the movie "The Rapture", ohhhhh! I dated this Greek girl named Irene who was a dead ringer for Penelope Cruse. Irene was a math major at McGill. We met while she was working part-time as the checkout girl at the market near McGill. She gently patted the Christmas turkey of the guy in front me like if it was somebody's ass. I was only person that saw her do it. She looked up and realized I had seen it and turned beet red blushing. We both laughed. I stepped up next and said, "you'll have to come tell me about that.." and she did. Tim Lefebvre used to call me The Fonz. Mike Belcourt (two-time Olympian '88 & '92TTT and Individual pursuit) you to call me Arthur as in Arthur Fonzarelli... Enough of that keep your eyes on the road. |
