Will you join the gang in an hard liquor induced viking rampage down "main street" <city> with us all? Ed, Patrick, UBoat, Sub55, Jimmy D, et al? Should be good.

I just read something on Pedal, but now it's down and I didn't cut and paste it, with Ed saying something like "I will post all night, and they (Pedal staff) will all go to bed!"

I look forward to getting together with you all. Especially you Jon. What a booze fest that would be. June in Monteal is my favorite. Hot weather, hot women! During the Grand Prix. I will book off a week in June 2006. Now that would be crazy! Oh, we can discuss cycling too.

Ahh, JJ, with his spirit-induced wisdom. Welcome, fella. A voice of reason.
Somebody that can see beyond the words on the monitor. Somebody worth writing for with style. You see, JJ is correct about the playing you part. You people really don't get it. I know how the CCA and their minions operate. You guys that slag me again and again and again with your well-thought out usernames, you are next to meaningless in this debate, inconsequential. You are simply the medium upon which the content is transferred. My real objects of the post sit silently and read every word. They log on in the morning when they get to work to check what they missed while they slept and they check back at the end of the day in case they missed something while distracted at work. I saw Hutsebaut and Cunningham do it at Hamilton 2003 all the time. They locked themselves in their office and read. They never posted. They just read. Like everybody is doing now. Every now and then Cunningham would run out with that flushed look of hers on her face, made one wonder if she didn't have somebody hiding under her desk, she would say this or that is being said on Canadian Cyclist or VEEL-o-news (pronounced by her like a pig squealing at slaughter VEEL-o-news, VEEEEL-o-news). I never bothered correcting her mispronunciation, I thought it amusing. So did Celine, my gorgeous, illegal co-worker from France, she would look up which her pretty smile and shake her head... (ahh... Celine..) It was hilarious. Like I gave a shit what the Master As were saying. 1500 views, 1800 views these days here and only four or five people writing. Who do YOU think is doing all the viewing? And I sit here and smile because I know they have to sit there and say nothing. It must be so very frustrating. It would drive me nuts. They call each other, email each other and wonder how to deal with it, what to say, what to do? They get somebody like Van de Wille in on it. Only Paddy, he is in a tough spot because he has to argue for stuff he knows is wrong. He has to play Devil's advocate. You cannot do that for long without making mistakes. A couple months later he is forced to live with what he wrote then eventhough he probably only wrote it to contradict me at the time. All I need to do is wait and watch the inevitable mistakes the amateurs make. All it takes is time. |

Craaaaaaaaaaaaaazy
I have to admit though, I do get trapped in with watching stuff like the Michael Jackson Trial, The OJ trial, Elian Gonzalez, all that stuff. Ed's post are like that. Crazy, but you gotta read them. The thing is, we are all reading them not because they are worth anything, just because he seems to be a nutter. How does he stay up all night and post at Pedal when they are sleeping, and why? Why doesn't he just stay here? Or Make his own site? Why, why, why? These are fascinating questions. Somebody that can see beyond the words on the monitor. Somebody worth writing for with style. Paddy must have paged Benjy the Shoddy Editor 911 or maybe Paddy is editing thing himself. Doesn't matter. There are more people viewing here now than on Pedal, except for the post there about me. I told you that would happen. I'm just curious how I can keep getting on Pedal at my home. Is Benjy unbanning me thinking I'm going to bail out his sinking forum? |

Oh I'm sure you are not posting from home. You are driving from internet cafe to internet cafe, posting wherever! Think of the money you could save if you stopped being so OCD.
I doubt anyone in their right mind would unban you. but if you want to fool yourself into thinking so, Mr. Narcissist, go for it. So how do you stay up all night? Good night Sir. Quote:

Uboat, why not use the "reply" button on the left of the page right across from the one your are using now? Why re-post the entire thread in quote when you do not need it. Are you simply trying to be obstructionist? It is not working, 1500 people or more are still viewing but you waste bandwith and slow everything down.
Reply without the quote on the left. |

I think I like you. A drink-fest involving everyone above is a wonderful idea. |

It might be fun but I'm a little worried about Van de Wille. Drinking in the company of many men, as he did out in the Maritimes, he seems to have trouble to keep his clothes on. I'm not really into that scene.

I had a few drinks last night while installing software onto my new hard drive. I was ready to throw the computer out the window until I had a few glasses of wine. The software then installed very well and I came on here with a relaxed attitude as you my have been able to tell from my posts. |

First Sub55, then you. How about we meet half way. Everyone wear clothes, but the clothes are cowboy outfits. Imagine us all struting down St. Denis Street loaded barking out French expletives. Dibs on the "man with no name" outfit. |
