During a wet and muddy XC race I let go once, and absolutly took after that.
In my first XC race I stopped during the race, again the release allowed me to go much faster.
As for road, the guys allways go to the side of the road during the 20 mins before races. I couldn't stand people reminding me "don't pee in the bunch"

Those of you following this post should find the following article, "The Art of On Bike Evacuation", interesting. Complete with tips on technique, it also gives some anecdotal comments on the subject of number two's....

http://www.slowtwitch.com/mainheadi...evacuation.html

Enjoy,
Harrow.

Seems appropriately ironic that they have an advertisement for “Endless pools” on the same page as this article, maybe it should be for “Endless puddles!”

Ummmm...what do the girls do?

Ullrich? Turd? Please - i don't want to tarnish his sexy image with that kind of news! Although, it does raise another interesting question.....
