Grip shift vs rapid fire

Sholud i replace it with new gripshift or rapid fire? I have tried my friends rapid fire and it felt a lot better than gripshift and my gripshift used to change gears sometimes, are all grip shift like that or did i get a crap one? __________________ ()0_0()

You appeared to answer your own question there.

Like rapid fire better? Go with rapid fire. Want something different? Go with rapid fire. I use it.

My thumb gets so painful that I reach over and shift with my left hand frequently. I haven't heard of others with this problem though, so it might just be me. --Bob

rudeboymcc Member Join Date: Mar 2003 Posts: 35	can anyone describe which one is rapid fire? i know what the grip shift ones are and i know of two more types, but don't know what they're called. i have the older type were it's just a lever on either side of the bars (on top), the one on the left is 1-3 (on mine) and the one on the right is 1-7. and you just select the numebr. the other ones i'm aware of is the one where there are two levers. one of them gets the gears up and the other drops them. so to get from gear 1 to seven you have to press it seven times. please help me!
